Over 150 Medals and trophy's presented to the Crawley Down Gatwick Junior Squads.

What a night yet again for the Junior Presentation evening. Several hundred Parents, Grand Parents and other relatives and friends attended. Approx 200 Boys & Girls represented the various squads from Under 5 Years to Under 14 years of age. As well as the presentations on stage, there was a fantastic Raffle with some super prizes donated by local businesses and individual Managers & Parents.

Outside the Under 8 Managers and Parents were the Chefs for the night producing Burgers and sausages all evening. Chairman Donal Barrett and wife Jackie did a cracking job supplying Chips, Cold drinks and sweets all evening. Whilst the children had a great time after the presentations playing football and generally having a fun time.

Mick Martin was master of ceremonies for the evening introducing the Squad Managers. Donal Barrett gave a short talk on the continued success of the Club, both Juniors and Seniors, and put this down to the fact that we are all one Club and all work together for the Clubs interest and not for individual teams or sections. The Club is also one of the cheapest in terms of individual Membership.

The Medals and Trophy's were presented to the Junior sides by 1st Team Captain Blair Cooney and popular midfield player Michael Belli. Michael Belli quoting on twitter that he was worried as most of the Under 12's were bigger than he was!!

Thanks to all the Team Managers not only for the talks but for their help on the night in various capacities from Doorman to setting up and clearing up after the event. Thanks also to Tony Brown who took the photo's during the evening which are now on the CDGFC Website and Michael and Jane Low who did a cracking job organising some of the fantastic prizes for the Raffle. Much behind the scenes also Jackie Barrett who apart from cooking chips on the night worked immensely hard before and after the event organising food and clearing up after the event.
Thanks also to the Haven Bar, Craig, Kirsty and Mark who were run off their feet throughout chasing glasses as the sheer volume of people threatened to cause a switch to plastic. Lots of great comments about the new look of the Haven bar as well.

Crawley Down Gatwick FC also wish to thank all Sponsors both on the night and for supporting the Junior and Senior Sides.
