Brian's chosen charity, 'The Hampshire Asbestos Support & Awareness Group (HASAG). The Charity provides advice and support to sufferers and their families affected by asbestos-related diseases.

Brian was Chairman for around 15 years and previously was a Junior Manager with the Club taking boys through from U8 to U18. He did two years at Under 18 level. As Chairman he took the Club from the Sussex County League Div 3 to the Ryman League and was foremost in making sure the Clubs facilities were improved from a park pitch to the present Stadium facilities acceptable for Step 4 in the FA Football Pyramid.

The Junior section of the Club also has been expanded during his Chairmanship. Brian decided to step down at the end of the 2013/14 season and invited Donal Barrett to take on the role. Donal's experience is also vast in Junior and Adult Football and he has also been through the ranks of Junior to U18 Manager and then followed that on with Adult Management all at Crawley Down.

It was quite a shock to hear of Brian's passing on Wednesday 6th Jan 2016. The Senior Club will be holding a minutes applause for Brian at the next home match on the 30th Jan v Haywards Heath Town.
