1st Team Manager Paul Cooper has had to step down for personal reasons and the following Club statement has been issued.

It is with great regret that the Club announce that first team manager, Paul Cooper, has decided to step down with immediate effect, for personal reasons. The Club would like to record its most sincere gratitude to Paul for what he has achieved over the last four seasons and particularly the stability and team spirit he has brought to the Club as a whole. We hope that in due course Paul will continue his involvement in the Club in some capacity. We are very pleased to announce that James Day who has been Paul’s assistant has agreed to take on the role of first team manager, which will provide vital continuity over the coming season. The management team will be strengthened by the addition of Dean Blackmore as assistant manager and Karl Scott as first team coach. Dean and Karl managed the Club’s successful reserve side last season. Jimmy Ferrar has decided to move on to a more senior role elsewhere and the Club wishes him well for the future. Because of all of these changes the Club will not be running a reserve or under 23 side in the coming season.
