Anvils although going down to 10 early on were more than a match for Newhaven in the 1st Period but 2nd Half the Anvils couldn't keep the work rate up although Newhaven's keeper was in action many times saving Newhaven on several occasions from losing their lead.
HT 1-0 to Newhaven probably against the run of play. 2nd Half Newhaven in general, dominated the 10 men scoring a further 4 but not withholding several chances created but not converted by the Anvils. Disappointing result yes but circumstances massively in Newhaven favour.
