Cracking game of football at Loxwood today. Anvils came out on top after going behind 3 times.
Spectators were served up a brilliant game of football at Loxwood with end to end football throughout.
Loxwood went ahead on 10 mins before Lewes Croal equalised 4 mins later.
HT 1-1
Croal equalised again for the Anvils after Loxwood went ahead 2-1 after 57mins and Croal hit his 2nd on 61.
The Anvils were then denied a penalty for a clear handball when the Referee pointed to the spot before consulting his assistant and reversing his decision. In the aftermath Loxwood immediately went ahead on 73 before Russell Malton again equalised for the Anvils 10 mins later. The Anvils then hit the winner through Michael Belli on 87 before running down the clock and securing their 3rd away league victory in a row and putting them 2nd in the table.
