More chances came and went for both sides until the final whistle.

Very good competitive game against Newhaven with the lead changing hands throughout.

2nd half Newhaven took the lead just after the restart 1-2 before Jack Ryder Scored for the Anvils with an unstoppable header. Jack then hit another just 2mins later 3-2 Anvils. On 70 mins Newhaven broke away and leveled 3-3 before Josh Alder hit the winner 4mins later. Good result for the Anvils and with a large crowd watching they did not disappoint.

A game the Anvils will want to forget after totally dominating the 1st Half and should have been out of site in terms of missed chances. Newhaven came back in it 2nd half 2-2 at Full Time but the Anvils were denied the winner just before the Whistle after the ball clearly crossed the goal line by a Mtr before Newhaven Cleared. Freddie & Jake scoring the Anvils Goals.
